Pass2Pass™ Ultra-Trail : Wellington, Western Cape
Pass2Pass Ultra-Trail is a multi-distance trail running event held at Doolhof Wine Estate near Bain's Kloof Pass in Wellington, Western Cape. The event takes place across the weekend of 2–4 April 2027, with all race runs scheduled for Saturday 3 April 2027.
Distances and elevation gains offered:
- P2P DASH : 14 km, 310 m vertical
- P2P LITE : 25 km, 1045 m vertical
- P2P CHALLENGE : 36 km, 1525 m vertical
- P2P MARATHON : 45 km, 2170 m vertical
- P2P ULTRA : 63 km, 3290 m vertical
- P2P HUNDRED : 100 km, 4337 m vertical
Each category has a published time cut-off and entry fee. Entries made before 31 December 2026 include an official event T-shirt. Registration and gear check take place the two days prior at Cape Town and at Doolhof Wine Estate.
Race services and participant inclusions vary by category but commonly include race bib, timing and live tracking, finishers drink and medal, hot shower facilities, route marshalls, festival beer tent, and event merchandise. The P2P Hundred includes a complimentary pacer and drop bag; Maurten fuel packs are included for all categories except P2P Dash.
The event operates a race village with tented chill zones, food and coffee vendors, secure parking, and on-site accommodation options. The race is an official UTMB index event and is ITRA affiliated. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
