Mudskipper SwimRun Parry Sound
The event is a multisport meet in Parry Sound, Ontario on July 18, 2027, produced by Canaqua Sports. It combines swimrun, standalone open water swims, and trail runs along Georgian Bay and nearby trails. The swimrun program includes a championship distance.

The 12.9 km swimrun is presented as a sequence of swim and run stages (for example stages include swims of 0.9 km, 0.9 km and 1.4 km and runs of 4.0 km, 3.2 km and 2.5 km). The 25.8 km distance is the longer championship option and uses repeated laps of the swimrun course.
Event details note a 2 km swim loop that starts and finishes at Wabuno/Waubano Beach and runs out to the Parry Sound salt docks; the 4 km swim is two laps and the 10 km is a longer open-water route. Water temperature in July is listed around 68 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Swim caps are provided and must be worn; wetsuits are optional. Facilities include washrooms and food. The races are sanctioned within the triathlon system and participants who are not members may obtain a one-day Triathlon Ontario membership for CA$8.00.
