Parkview 3K Color Run
The Parkview 3K Color Run takes place in Syracuse, New York, at Burnet Park. This event is a community oriented race that serves as a fundraiser for Parkview Junior Academy, a local Christian grade school. The primary goal of the fundraiser is to provide the necessary funds to replace the school's road-side sign.
The course is located within Burnet Park and consists of three loops around the park grounds. The total distance for the event is 3 km. To ensure participant safety, the route is closed to vehicle traffic and features supervised sections throughout.
Participants can choose to either walk or run the distance. During the event, color bombers are stationed along the course to douse runners and walkers with non-toxic, food-grade color dust.
