Steady Strides 5K
Steady Strides is a fundraising community event organized by Parkinson Support and Wellness that features a timed 5K Run/Walk and a Lil' Striders fun run for youth. Event operations include gates opening with on-site event check-in and packet pick-up, pre-race staging with staggered starts and warm-ups, and a food court for participants and guests.
Entry fee information is provided: the fee is $45 for registrations submitted between August 1 and September 19. The entry fee includes one optional honor or memory card and a technical race shirt. A race shirt is guaranteed only for registrations completed by September 5. Registration is nonrefundable.
Awards are presented to the top two finishers in each age category and to the top overall male and female finishers; awards are distributed at the Timing and Awards booth. A raffle is conducted with baskets on display; raffle tickets are sold online before the event and on site. Ticket sales close shortly before the raffle drawing and winners are posted at the raffle kiosk.
The event takes place at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, 5460 Courseview Drive, Mason, OH. A post race party follows awards and raffle activities to allow participants and supporters to gather after the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
