Parkinson's Awareness Run/Walk Sponsored by Fusion

Parkinson's Awareness Run/Walk Sponsored by Fusion takes place on April 12, 2026 in Fredericksburg, Virginia at 5700 Smith Station Road. The event provides running and walking options to support the Parkinson's community.

Distances offered:

5K: mix of trail and pavement, timed, ages 12 and up.
1 Mile: all paved and wheelchair accessible, not officially timed.

All proceeds will be directed to the YMCA Parkinson's/Therapeutic Wellness Department and to the local Parkinson's Association. The 5K includes awards for the top three overall finishers and the top three finishers in each male and female age group. Age groups are 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Each 1 mile finisher receives a medal.

Packet pickup is handled at the Ron Rosner Family YMCA the day before the event and on race day. The t-shirt guarantee deadline is midnight on Friday, March 20th for those who wish to be assured a race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
