Event Overview
The Parkinson's 5K & Wellness Walk is a community event held at the Lee Health Sports Complex, also known as Hammond Field, in Fort Myers. This event raises awareness and funds for the Lee Health Parkinson Program, which provides resources, education, and exercise classes for individuals living with Parkinson's disease. The event takes place at the ballpark following the spring training season.
Race Options
Participants can choose between two primary events:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
Participant Information
Registered participants receive an event t-shirt and a commemorative finisher's medal. For the 5K event, awards are provided for the top three overall male and female finishers based on gun time. Additional awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, ranging from 10 and under to 70 plus, based on net chip time.
Packet Pickup
Packet distribution is available on the day before the race at Fleet Feet Bell Tower or on the morning of the event at the Lee Health Sports Complex. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
