PARAS'10 Catterick

PARAS'10 Catterick on 26 September 2026 is a running event held at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire. The event reproduces the 10 mile element used in The Parachute Regiment's P Company Test Week and offers both a standard run and a bergen-carried race.

Distances and formats

• 10 mile PARAS'10 Run - multi-terrain endurance race
• 10 mile PARAS'10 TAB - 35lb bergen carried

Entrants may choose to run with a dog as part of a canicross category for either the Run or the TAB event. The 10 mile march that inspired the event is described as a squad march over undulating terrain with each person carrying a 35lb bergen plus water and a weapon; that march is expected to be completed in 1 hour and 50 minutes as part of the original test format.

The event was hosted by The Parachute Regiment in Aldershot between 1982 and 1993, was revived at the Infantry Training Centre Catterick in 2008, and was later held in Colchester in 2012.
