Par Duathlon - The Hare
Par Duathlon takes place on 27 March 2027 at Par Athletics Track, Par Beach PL24 2PB. The event follows a run, bike, run format with a smooth, mostly closed 5k bike circuit and a run course on and around Par Athletics Track that is visible to spectators.
The bike course is an out-and-back loop with access from the track area via a short walk of about 400 m, giving supporters multiple viewing opportunities on each lap. Parking is available at Par Beach. Results are published online within 24 hours after the event.
The race is part of the Cornish Tri Series. Series scoring awards up to 100 points, and overall series qualification requires completion of a minimum of four events plus volunteering or bringing a volunteer to at least one event. Age groups include Open (17-39 yrs), Vet (40-49 yrs), Super Vet (50-59 yrs), Vintage (60-69 yrs) and Super Vintage (70+).
Volunteer participation carries entry credit incentives: bringing a volunteer can earn a 50% credit and volunteering oneself can earn a 100% credit toward future entries. All competitors receive a medal on completion of their event.
