Paper Maker OCR : Lacamas Lake Regional Park, Camas, WA (July 18, 2026)
Paper Maker OCR is an obstacle course event held at Lacamas Lake Regional Park, located at 3344 NE Everett Street in Camas, Washington. The main course covers over four miles and includes more than ten obstacles that use the natural terrain to test strength, endurance, and agility.
Terrain features packed dirt trails, rocky paths, shaded forest corridors, tree-rooted sections, rolling hills, and several water crossings. Obstacle styles include crawls, carries, balance tests, tree hurdles, and log jumps built into the landscape. Bypass options are available for participants who need to modify or skip obstacles. There are no water stations on the course; participants should bring their own hydration and follow a pack in, pack out policy.
A separate kids loop is offered for ages 4 to 10 with mini obstacles such as low crawls, small hurdles, and balance challenges. Parent supervision is required for the kids loop. Each child participant receives a Paper Maker Kiddo Race shirt.
A competitive division awards cash prizes to the top two male and top two female finishers. Competitive entrants must complete all obstacles to standard and finish the entire course to be eligible for prizes; failure to meet standards results in disqualification from prize eligibility. Timing is provided by a professional timing service. Event facilities include restrooms at the registration area, water bottles at the finish, parking at 3344 NE Everett Street and an overflow gravel lot, and a post-race festival with local vendors and snacks.
