- 4 miles : main obstacle course with 14+ challenges
- 400 m : Paper Maker Kiddo Race for ages 4 to 8
The main course covers roughly four miles across packed dirt trails, rocky paths, shaded forest corridors, and natural elevation changes. Runners will encounter tree-rooted trails, rolling hills, and a few water crossings. The course includes 14 or more obstacles such as crawls, carries, balance tests, tree hurdles, and log jumps. Bypass options are available for participants who need to modify or skip obstacles safely.
The Kiddo Race is a short loop designed for ages 4 to 8, featuring low crawls, small hurdles, and balance challenges. Parent supervision is required; parents may run alongside or watch from the sidelines. Each child receives a Paper Maker Kiddo Race shirt.
The event runs multiple waves including Competitive, Open Community, and Team & Friends. The Competitive division awards cash prizes to the top two male and top two female finishers, subject to completion standards for all obstacles and the full course. Facilities near the festival and registration area include restrooms, water refill stations, and food vendors. The registration area is located near the main bathrooms by the playground. Parking is available at the main lot on Everett Street, an overflow gravel lot north of the lake, and limited street parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
