5K Beer Run - Oakshire Beer Hall
This event is a 5K fun run/walk held at Oakshire Beer Hall in NE Portland on September 26, 2026. The course is approximately 5 kilometers, mapped to start and finish at the taproom and to run through nearby streets in the neighborhood.
The event is organized by the Oregon Brewery Running Series, which runs over 300 events annually across 20+ states. A portion of proceeds from this event supports local nonprofits; for this edition 10% of proceeds will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters. The series reports having raised over $500,000 for nonprofits to date.
All participants receive one craft brew at the finish from Oakshire and a collector's seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. There is also a chance to win prizes such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home. Registration is limited to the size of the taproom and events may sell out. The organizer’s stated refund policy allows refunds up to five days before the event.
