Paper Chase 5K : 11th Annual
The Ingham County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section organizes the 11th Annual Paper Chase 5K in Lansing, Michigan. The course begins at Lansing Shuffle on Riverfront Drive, follows the Lansing River Trail south to a turnaround at the halfway point, and returns to the start.
The event features a 3.1 Miles run/walk. Registration opens March 1, 2026. Entry fees include a t-shirt for participants who register on or before May 13, 2026; t-shirts after that date are available on a first-come first-served basis. A $10 gift card to Lansing Shuffle is provided for every registrant. Early entry fee is $40 until May 6, with higher fees listed for later registration periods and on race day.
Teams are permitted. Teams consist of a minimum of two people and must include at least one employee or owner of the firm or organization when a firm or organization forms the team. A team discount of $5 per participant applies for teams of four or more. Organizers aim to reach 150 participants and encourage law firms and legal organizations to form teams.
Awards will be given to the fastest three overall male and female finishers. Additional awards recognize the firm or organization team with the lowest average time, calculated from its two fastest members, and the team with the greatest number of participants.
