Panther Spirit Race
Panther Spirit Race is scheduled for August 15, 2026 in Dewitt, Michigan, with start and finish at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 801 N Bridge St. The event is hosted by the Alma College Cheer Program and serves as the program's primary fundraiser.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 miles
- Kids' Mile: 1 mile
- Kids' 100 meter Dash: 100 meters
Registration opens March 1, 2026. Entry fees vary by date for the 5K and are fixed for youth races. The listed pricing windows for the 5K are $20 through August 2, $25 from August 3 to August 9, and $30 from August 10 to August 14. Kids events are $5. A family or group option for the 5K allows 2 to 4 people for $70, valid until August 2.
Race entry fee includes a finisher medal for participants. Early packet pick-up is offered on the evening before the race, August 14, and race day packet pick-up will be available at St. Jude's.
