Event overview
The Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally 5K takes place on June 27, 2026, in Panguitch, Utah, at the Panguitch High Track (390 East 100 West). The event is a 5-kilometer road run held while hot air balloons rise into the Southern Utah sky. The course begins at the high school track, proceeds through the streets of Panguitch, and loops back to finish at the track.
Race format and entries
- Distance: 5K
Individual entry is listed with a fee of $30. Race day registration is available, and race day registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Medals are awarded to the top 10 finishers for both men and women. A free kids race around the track follows the 5K.
There is a PHX Alumni / Panguitch Resident Team Race for eligible participants. Teams must include at least two men and two women, with a maximum of seven runners per team. Team registration is $25 per runner. Team scoring uses the top two men and top two women from each team; the top two teams receive t-shirts and event recognition.
