The event on September 19-20, 2026 takes place at Lucky 7 Ranch in Hatch, Utah, and runs around the northern half and western edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The courses travel high-elevation terrain, with most miles between 7,000-9,000 ft, and include a mix of doubletrack, singletrack, plateau running, canyon sections, and hoodoo formations.
Distances offered include:
- 100 Mile
- 50 Mile
- 60K
- 50K
- 30K
- Half Marathon
Aid stations are fully stocked with water, Gnarly Fuel2O, fresh-cut fruit, soda, a variety of salty and sweet items, and portable bathrooms. Stations serving 20+ mile segments add salt caps, electrolyte caps, an anti-chafing agent, sunscreen, first aid supplies, and medical support. The race is cupless for cold drinks; runners must carry their own bottle, cup, or hydration system.
Crew and pacer rules are restricted: pacers are permitted only for the 50-mile race, and crew access is allowed only at designated aid stations. Registered pacers and crew must display bibs and follow event guidelines; exact access locations and registration details will be provided in the race guide.
Drop bags are allowed for longer distances with labeling, size, and drop-off rules; bags must be left by the night before the race and are returned after aid stations close. Required gear includes a headlamp, hydration system, an offline-accessible course map device, and visible bib placement. Spectators are limited to the start/finish staging area only.
