Panda 5K

Parkway Elementary School hosts the Parkway Panda 5K & 1K Fun Run in Frederick, Maryland. The event includes a 1K Fun Run and two 5K races (one for ages 12 and under, one for ages 13 and up). The course winds through Baker Park and the surrounding neighborhoods, starting near the Baker Park Bandshell at 21 N Bentz St.

The family‑friendly event benefits the Parkway Elementary School community and offers age‑group awards and shirts for early registrants. Packet pickup is available on the preceding Friday or race day. It provides a welcoming, community atmosphere with scenic urban park views.
