Event overview
The Parkway Panda event is a community run held on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Frederick, Maryland. It is organized by Parkway Elementary School and benefits the Parkway Elementary School community. The course runs through Baker Park and nearby neighborhoods. The start location is near the Baker Park Bandshell at 21 N. Bentz St., Frederick, MD 21701.

Registration opens March 1, 2026. Entry fees listed by event include the organizer fee: $16.90 for the 1K (includes $1.90 fee), $27.50 for the 5K (Ages 12 and under, includes $2.50 fee), and $32.80 for the 5K (Ages 13 and up, includes $2.80 fee). Race shirts will be provided to participants who register by Friday, May 1, 2026. Registrations after May 2 may receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis.
Packets can be picked up from the front steps of Parkway Elementary School on Friday, May 22 and on race day. Awards will be given to top finishers in these age categories: 7 and under, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
