Panama Trail Mini Ultra Run
The Panama Trail Mini Ultra Run takes place on August 7, 2027 at the Panama Community Center in Panama, Nebraska. The event uses the local Panama Trails and is organized as timed sessions rather than fixed distances.
Participants choose among time categories of 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours; the distance recorded is the amount covered within the chosen time frame. The course is looped, with each loop measuring more than 4 miles. Participants must pass the Community Center on each loop to have their laps counted. When a participant's time ends, they must check in at the finish.
All runners who complete a time category receive a medal. In addition, the top three men and the top three women in each time category receive awards. Ruckers are welcome to run or hike while carrying a pack; ruckers must register online and indicate at check-in that they are rucking.
Facilities at the Community Center include restrooms, snacks, and drinks. Runners may set up tents in the lot by the trails, but must visit the Community Center each loop to be counted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
