PAMOJA 5K Run or Walk
The PAMOJA 5K Run or Walk is a free community wellness event on October 24, 2026, in Albuquerque’s International District. The start and finish are at 5401 Eastern Avenue SE, with the staging area located outside the parking lot.
Event distances include:
- 3.1 miles 5K Run or Walk
- 1 mile Community Walk
- Kids K youth race
Packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the event at NMBLC, 1314 Madeira Dr SE, Albuquerque. Race-day packet pickup and registration are available. Limited street and designated parking will be provided; attendees are encouraged to use public transportation, bicycle, or walk. Portable toilets are available at the venue.
The 5K is chip timed. RunFit will set up water stations and volunteers will help operate them. Participants must wear their assigned bib visibly on the front of outer clothing and must not alter or exchange bibs. Course rules prohibit skateboards, rollerblades, unauthorized bicycles, and motorized scooters; participants should keep headphone volume low enough to hear instructions. Strollers and baby joggers may participate under the original event guidance.
If a participant cannot finish, they should notify a course official and give their bib number; volunteers and event officials can be alerted for medical help. Results and award details for the 5K will be published by the timing provider, and post-race refreshments will be available free of charge.
