Palmer Lake July 4th Fun Run
The event is an annual fun run held on July 4, 2026 at Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area in Palmer Lake, Colorado. It serves as a fundraiser for Palmer Lake Elementary School and is identified as the 44th annual edition. The event also coincides with the country’s 250th and the state’s 150th anniversaries.
The course runs from the south end of Palmer Lake to Monument via the Santa Fe Trail. The route offers views of the Front Range, encouraging signs along the way, and a slight downhill profile. Participants may run, jog, walk, skip, or parade along the route.
There are separate entry categories for adults, middle school and high school students, and elementary students and younger. Each entry covers a distance of 4 Miles. Registration opens on April 1, 2026 and closes on May 1, 2026. Registration fees are $30 for adults and $20 for student entries. Fees support students and teachers at Palmer Lake Elementary.
