Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge
The Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge is a one day running event on 10/17/2026 at 1 Tram Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262, United States. The event takes place on a route that rises from the desert toward the San Jacinto Mountains.
The in person course is a 6K that climbs almost 2,000 feet over about 3.7 miles. The start is described as the intersection of Tram Way and Highway 111, with views of the San Jacinto Mountains and the Coachella Valley. The event offers timed in person categories and a separate virtual option.
Available entries include timed in person categories that are awards eligible and timed in person categories that are not awards eligible. Awards for the top three in each age group are given only to participants who register in the awards eligible category. All in person participants are professionally timed. The virtual option also covers a 6K and requires substantial elevation gain; organizers will provide a bib, t shirt and finisher medal to virtual participants, with additional shipping fees for addresses outside the United States.
