Palm Springs Pride 5K Run & Walk
The Palm Springs Pride 5K Run & Walk takes place on November 7, 2026 in Palm Springs, CA and is hosted by Palm Springs Front Runners & Walkers. The event covers 3.1 miles on a fully paved out and back course through the Old Las Palmas and Vista Las Palmas neighborhoods. The course begins at W. Chino Drive & Belardo Road, behind The Corridor Shops, and includes a slight route modification from previous years. Volunteers are stationed along the route.
The event is capped at 1,200 participants. Registration fees vary by date and category: $45 online through September 30, $50 online from October 1 through November 5, $55 in person on Friday if space remains, and $25 for youth under 21 through November 6. Online registration closes November 5, 2026 and refunds are not available. All online registrants receive a TriBlend race shirt in female or unisex sizes unless they opt to donate the shirt cost; sizes are distributed first come, first served. Early packet pickup is at The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert at 1301 N Palm Canyon Dr second floor, and race day pickup is at the start area. Bag storage is available at Volunteer Check In.
Last year the Pride 5K raised over $50,000 and the event has donated more than $300,000 since its first race. Beneficiaries for 2026 include local LGBTQ+ organizations such as The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert, Brothers of the Desert, Exceeding Expectations, Lesbians of Palm Springs & the Coachella Valley, Marsha P. Johnson LGBTQ+ Youth Drop In Center, SafeHouse of the Desert, and Sanctuary Palm Springs. The race uses timing chips and awards overall and age group medals; winners must be present to receive medals.
