Course
The course is a 3.1 mile out-and-back on paved streets through the Old Las Palmas and Vista Las Palmas neighborhoods. The 5K starts near W Chino Drive and Belardo Road behind the Corridor Shops and is described as mostly flat. Volunteers will be positioned on the course.
Logistics, Teams, and Awards
Advance packet pickup is scheduled for November 6 at The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert (1301 N Palm Canyon Dr). Race day packet pickup is at the start area on November 7; online registration on race morning is not available. Someone else may pick up a registrant’s bib during advance pickup.
A timing chip is attached to the race bib; runners must cross the timing devices at start and finish to record times and be eligible for awards. Awards go to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers, plus age group medals across multiple categories. Teams may be created with no minimum or maximum size; awards are given to the top three teams by participation.
