Palm Springs Pride 5K Run & Walk
The Palm Springs Pride 5K Run & Walk takes place on November 7, 2026 in Palm Springs, CA and is hosted by Palm Springs Front Runners & Walkers. The event is a community-oriented 5K offering both running and walking on a fully paved, out-and-back course.
The course covers 5K (3.1 miles) through the Old Las Palmas and Vista Las Palmas neighborhoods, beginning at W. Chino Drive and Belardo Road behind The Corridor Shops. Volunteers are stationed along the route. The event is capped at 1,200 participants to manage race-day operations.
Registration is tiered with different online and in-person fees, including a youth rate for participants under 21. Online registration closes on 11/5/2026 at 11:59 PM and refunds are not available. All online registrants receive a TriBlend race shirt in female or unisex sizes unless they opt out; sizes are provided on a first come, first served basis. Early packet pickup takes place at The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert (1301 N Palm Canyon Dr, Second Floor); late registration may be available if the participant cap has not been reached and payments at pickup are cashless.
Timing chips are included on race bibs and competitors must cross timing mats at both the start and finish to record an official time. Awards include overall top male, female, and non-binary finishers plus age group medals and team awards based on membership size.
The event supports a group of local LGBTQ+ beneficiary organizations; 100% of donated funds go directly to those beneficiaries.
