P.A.I.L. Remembrance and Awareness Walk
The P.A.I.L. Remembrance and Awareness Walk takes place on October 10, 2026, at Genoa Park in Columbus. The event is organized by several local groups and institutions and focuses on raising awareness about pregnancy and infant loss and on honoring babies who are missed.
The program includes a brief presentation followed by an un-timed one mile walk. Check-in opens before the presentation. Registration for the walk does not require a fee. The course is stroller friendly and pets other than service animals are not permitted.
Onsite offerings include light snacks, water, resources for grieving parents, and activities for children. A coffee truck will be available for purchases. Information and community resources related to pregnancy and infant loss are part of the event.
Partners and organizers include local support organizations that were formed to connect families affected by pregnancy and infant loss and a local public health agency that participates in a fetal and infant mortality review process. The event is held downtown; there is no parking inside Genoa Park, and nearby parking garages and downtown parking are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
