Paige's Butterfly Run, Syracuse NY
Paige's Butterfly Run is held in downtown Syracuse on June 6, 2026, in conjunction with the Taste of Syracuse. The event is the 30th edition and raises funds for childhood cancer research and patient programs at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Racers and walkers can choose from several event formats, including an officially measured 5K and a shorter fitness 3K run/walk. The program also includes team and youth-focused options, a virtual 5K option for remote participation, and a short Caterpillar crawl for very young children. Children aged five and under may participate in the Caterpillar crawl free of charge; that event is held at the Hanley Federal Building on carpets. Some team divisions and push chair entries are instructed to start at the rear of the race corral.
Registration fees vary by event. Priced events list a processing fee included in the registration amount. Proceeds from the event support the center for children’s cancer and blood disorders at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse.
