Paddy Buckley Recce / Fun Run - Snowdon
This event is a guided recce of a leg of the Paddy Buckley Round across the Snowdon Range. The route runs from Beddgelert Forest (A4085) to Llanberis and covers 20 km with approximately 1,900 m of ascent. It takes place in Snowdonia National Park in North Wales on 14 June 2026.
Participants are grouped into small teams and led by experienced runners who hold Mountain Leader qualifications as a minimum and who have completed the full Paddy Buckley Round. The full Paddy Buckley Round covers about 61 miles, crosses 47 peaks and totals over 8,500 m of height gain; this event focuses on the Beddgelert Forest to Llanberis section to provide route familiarity and technical advice relevant to that leg.
Entry is limited to people aged 18 or older. Entries open on 17 September 2025 and close on 12 June 2026. The stated entry fee is £65. The organiser is Adventure Awaits. An option to purchase XCover is available for potential refund in case of unforeseen circumstances, and the event has published cancellation and refund terms.
