Packanack Day Lake Run and Walk
The Packanack Day Lake Run and Walk is a community sports event held in Wayne, New Jersey. The course layout takes participants around the perimeter of Packanack Lake, starting and finishing near 6 Osborne Terrace. The event is designed to accommodate different age groups and activity preferences through several distinct categories:
- 5K (3.1 miles) running race
- 2 Mile Walk specific category
- Kids Races for younger participants
Participants in the 5K event are eligible for age group awards. These awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in specific brackets ranging from 15 and under up to 80 and older.
The event provides refreshments for those involved. Additionally, T-shirt giveaways are available for the first 200 participants who pre-register for the event.
