About the race
Pack Around the Park 2026 is the fifth annual community run and family event held at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, TX. The event features a full 5K course measured to 3.1 miles and a shorter childrens race designed for ages 12 and under. Organizers say the true 5K will start on the dam and finish at the park pavilion, one lap plus a small adjustment to account for the lake size. Participants may race, run or walk.
Registration includes a race t-shirt, a finishers medal, and post-race food provided by sponsors. Weiss High School band members will perform along the course. The 5K offers an option for chip timing or untimed participation; results will be available immediately after the race and online. Check-in and packet pick-up are scheduled the day before at Weiss High School and on race morning at Lake Pflugerville.
Entry fees listed by the organizer include a childrens fee for the Wolf Cub 1K and a fee for the 5K with an early-bird rate available before April 1. Proceeds support Weiss High School Wolf Pack Band students and staff. The event is listed as in person and has a no-refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
