Surrey - P24 - The Longest Attended Day
The event on Saturday 19 June 2027 takes place at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey. The format requires participants to run 1 mile at the same time each hour and repeat this for 24 consecutive hours on an off road trail through the wine estate. The course is described as as flat as possible.
The attended event includes full chip timing and a 12 mm thick, half kilo P24 finisher's medal for those who complete the full 24 hours. Onsite facilities include 24 hour access to toilet facilities, daytime access to a cafe serving hot food via an outdoor hatch with teas, coffees, bacon rolls, sausage rolls and vegetarian and vegan options, and camping for tents only. Mobile homes and campers are not permitted. Participants who do not pitch a tent may remain onsite between miles.
A simultaneous virtual event is coordinated across the same 24 hour period for attended and virtual runners to participate together. Places for the attended event are strictly limited. Entry fees listed for the event are £57.95 for affiliated entrants and £59.95 for unattached entrants. As per UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under.
