Oxford Half Marathon
The Oxford Half Marathon is presented as a fast and flat half-marathon that runs through the university city of Oxford. The route covers 13.1 miles and passes through Mansfield Road, Old Marston village, alongside the River Cherwell and past Lady Margaret Hall, finishing back near the centre of Oxford University.
Live music and cheering crowds are noted features along the course. The event is scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026. Entries for the 2026 race are sold out; charity entry places are available as an alternative route into the event.
Helen & Douglas House is listed as a headline charity partner. The organisation is described as the world’s first children’s hospice, supporting terminally ill children and their families in Oxfordshire and nearby counties, providing care at an Oxford hospice, at home and in hospital.
The information emphasises the urban route and the presence of spectators and music rather than elevation details or precise aid-station locations. The site lists past sell-outs for 2023, 2024 and 2025 and notes high demand for places in 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
