Owls Roost Rumble is a trail running event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Bur-Mil Park, 5834 Bur-Mil Club Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410. Registration is limited to 500 total participants. The event offers these distance options:
- Half Marathon (includes ruck and economy package options)
- 4 Mile (run/walk, ruck, economy package options)
- Virtual options for the Half Marathon and 4 Mile
Price ranges listed in the event material: half marathon $60–$75, 4 mile $38–$50, virtual $35.
Course and race features
The course follows Greensboro watershed trails and includes a full loop around Lake Brandt on singletrack with rolling terrain and lakeside sections of varying difficulty. Participants may run, ruck, or hike the course. The event is part of the NC Trail Mega Medal Series; finisher medals from four series events connect to form a Mega Medal.
Included with registration are a custom race shirt, a finisher medal, race photos, chip timing with course splits and results, live tracking via RaceJoy, multiple aid stations with hydration and nutrition, and post-race food and beverages.
The event materials also state a refund and transfer policy: no refunds within 30 days of the event; earlier requests may be eligible for a 50% refund (processing fees excluded); entries cannot be deferred to another event or year.
