Race to Build Hope 5K

The Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity organises the fourth annual Race to Build Hope in Overton County. This event takes place in Livingston, Tennessee, with the start and finish area located at Central Park on South Spring Street. The proceeds from the event are designated for the Overton County Habitat Build.

The race follows a 5K distance and utilizes chip timing for all participants. The event is open to a variety of participants, as the course accommodates runners and walkers. Strollers, wheelchairs, and dogs on leashes are permitted on the route.

Participants receive specific event materials based on their registration date:

  • One distance is available: a 5K running and walking race.

Early registration is available until March 5. Individuals who register during this early period are provided with a t-shirt and a swag bag. While registration continues after this date, the inclusion of these items is not guaranteed for late entries. Medals are awarded to the winners of the competition.

Packet pickup is scheduled for the day prior to the race at two different locations. These include a nutrition center in Livingston and the Restore facility in Cookeville. On the morning of the event, a check-in process is conducted at the park before the start of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
