The OVERRUN Ovarian Cancer 5K - 15th Anniversary
The event marks the 15th running of The OVERRUN Ovarian Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Teal Trail Walk on September 27, 2026, at SouthCreek Business Park, 7200 W. 132nd St., Overland Park, KS. The OVERRUN Ovarian Cancer Foundation organizes the event to raise funds for ovarian cancer research, awareness and patient advocacy in the KC Metro area.
Distances offered include:
- 5K run/walk
- 1 Mile Teal Trail Walk
- Virtual 5K and virtual team option
Participants are provided long sleeve t-shirts. Participants who register on or after September 14 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Virtual participants will receive their t-shirts after the event; a shipping fee is included with virtual entries.
Pre-race packet pickup is available at Dick's Sporting Goods Town Center, 11801 Nall Ave., Leawood, KS, on Saturday, September 26, from Noon to 4:00 pm. Race day packet pickup is available at the race site beginning at 7:00 am.
Awards are presented for overall male and female and male and female masters 40 and over. Age-group awards are given for the top three male and female finishers in multiple age brackets. 5K finisher medals are available while supplies last. There are no finisher medals for the 1 Mile walk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
