The 9th Annual Outrun Addiction 5K takes place on September 19, 2026, in Enfield, Connecticut. The event is based at the Enfield Education Annex at 124 North Maple Street, which offers on-site parking.

Course & Awards

The 5K course is USATF certified. Awards are presented for the overall top male and female 5K finishers, as well as the top three finishers in multiple age categories. Team awards are given in categories like Largest Team and Fastest Team. Virtual participants are eligible for a Farthest Participant award.

Registration & Amenities

Registration fees start at $25 for pre-registration, increasing to $30 until race day, and $35 on race day. A race T-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by September 6, 2026. Virtual participants can receive their shirt by mail if registered by the same date and must upload their results between September 16th and 20th.

Beneficiaries
