OUTRUN ADDICTION 5K : Event details
The 9th Annual OUTRUN ADDICTION 5K is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Enfield Education Annex, 124 North Maple St, Enfield, CT 06082, US. The event offers in-person and virtual options. On-site parking is available at the Enfield Educational Annex.

Registration and virtual race
Registration opens March 15, 2026. Fees are tiered by date: $25 pre-registration (until May 30), $30 until race day, and $35 on race day. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by September 6, 2026; virtual runners who register by that date will receive a race T-shirt by mail. Virtual participants may upload results between September 16 and 20; virtual results are listed separately and are not eligible for age group awards. Virtual runners are eligible for the Farthest Participant Award.
Additional race merchandise is available through the event store: extra T-shirts ($15) and hoodies ($40). Merchandise order deadline is September 6, 2026.
Course, awards and beneficiaries
The 5K course is USATF certified (Certification Code: CT23020JHP). Awards include overall top male and female 5K finishers, top three finishers by age groups (12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+), a Farthest Participant Award for virtual runners, and team awards for Largest, Fastest, Most Enthusiastic, and Most Generous teams.
