Outpacing Melanoma 5K - Overland Park, KS
The Outpacing Melanoma 5K takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, coinciding with National Lemonade Day. Organized by the Outpacing Melanoma Foundation, the event raises funds for melanoma research and promotes prevention, screening, and early detection in the greater Kansas City region.
The event is described as a scenic 5K run/walk held at Corporate Woods, 9401 Indian Creek Parkway, Overland Park, KS 66210. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome. A post-race celebration includes lemonade stands and activities for children and families. The event offers themed shirts, with sizes not guaranteed for registrations after April 11, awards for top finishers, and a new custom finisher medal; 5K participants must be wearing their race bib to receive the medal.
