About the race
Outlaw Nottingham Weekend is a multisport event at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham, featuring a range of triathlon and running formats across a weekend. Racing is staged across separate days with junior and sprint races before the middle-distance events.
Distances and event formats include:
- Outlaw Half: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run
- Outlaw Half Aquabike: 1.2 mile swim and 56 mile bike
- Outlaw Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Future Outlaw: Mini 1.2 mile run and Junior 2.4 mile run for ages 4 to 15
The site includes an event village with food and exhibitor stands, plus grandstand seating overlooking the orange carpet finish. Onsite camping is a very short walk from the event site and can be booked via the National Water Sports Centre or Pitchup.com; nearby hotels are available in West Bridgford and Nottingham city centre.
The venue operates ANPR parking and parking tickets must be purchased in advance via Park PCM; the organiser provides a code for booking. Participants racing on the final day are required to register and rack their bikes on the prior day. Dogs are permitted on site but must be kept on a lead.
