OUTLAST Philadelphia
OUTLAST is a six hour trail endurance challenge held at 347 Green Valley Rd, Coatesville, PA. Participants run a timed 5K loop at the top of every hour; each lap must be completed within the hour to remain in the event. Those who finish early rest until the next round. Completing all six rounds is recorded as an overall finish.
Courses are trail based and include natural terrain, elevation, and variable conditions; some sections may include pavement or gravel. Each 5K is timed individually and a combined time is used to determine local winners and national rankings. Walking is permitted provided the lap is finished within the hour.
Aid is provided at basecamp or the loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event so participants must bring their own bottle or hydration system. Participants may set up a personal tent or aid area between laps. All entrants receive a premium OUTLAST tee. Patches and awards are given by laps completed: four laps earns a Grit Earned patch, five laps earns a Survivor patch, and six laps earns a premium OUTLAST medal.
Top male and female finishers by combined time earn local awards and placement on a national leaderboard. The fastest overall across OUTLAST six hour events is named National Champion with a cash prize, and top city champions qualify for a championship with separate prize payouts.
