OUTLAST COLUMBUS

OUTLAST Columbus is a six hour trail endurance challenge held in Lewis Center, Ohio at 3400 Lewis Center Rd. Runners complete a 5K once each hour, on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to remain in the event; finishing early allows rest until the next round, and missing a lap leads to removal from the competition. Completing all six rounds results in an OUTLAST finish.

The course is trail based and includes natural terrain, elevation, and unpredictable conditions. Participants have short recovery periods between laps to refuel and refocus.

Recognition and awards are tied to laps completed and to overall performance. Four laps earn a Grit Earned patch, five laps earn a Survivor patch, and six laps earn a premium OUTLAST medal. All participants receive a premium OUTLAST tee. The top male and female with the fastest combined 5K times at the event receive the 1st Place OUTLAST award. Finishers are ranked on a world leaderboard. The fastest runner across all OUTLAST six hour events, including the Championship, will be named World Champion and receive a cash prize of $1,000.

City champions may qualify for the Outlast World Championship in DFW on December 4 2027. Championship prizes for first through third place male and female winners are listed as 1st place $1,200, 2nd place $800, and 3rd place $500.
