Event Overview
The Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K is a road race event held in Baton Rouge. A partnership between LSU Athletics and FRESHJUNKIE Racing, the event incorporates the traditions of LSU Football and Tiger Stadium. The course is designed to accommodate various members of the community, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, and fans.
Race Options
Participants can choose from several distances and categories:
- 10K (including an assisted category)
- 5K (including an assisted category)
- Lamar Tiger Kids Mile (open to children ages 3-12)
The 10K race has a time limit of 2.25 hours, which requires a minimum pace of 21:45 per mile. The 5K also has a 2.25-hour time limit, allowing for a pace of 43:30 per mile.
Venue and Atmosphere
The races conclude on the 50-yard line inside Tiger Stadium. This finish allows participants to experience the field where LSU athletic events take place. Following the completion of the races, a post-race party is held. The celebration includes live music, food, and beverages. The event also features a VIP experience, awards, and a dedicated cooling-off area with refreshments.
Participation
