The Ottonenlauf is a nature experience running competition in the Harz region, starting from three locations (Stiege, Alexisbad, and Meisdorf) and leading through the Selke Valley to the common finish line in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Quedlinburg. The route primarily follows forest and forestry paths and offers scenic highlights such as the Selke Valley Railway, Harz ponds, castles, rock cliffs, and rock tunnels.
