On October 4, 2026, ÖTILLÖ Colorado USA takes place in Fort Collins, Colorado, with the race area based at Soldier Canyon Event Facility (708 Lodgepole Dr., Bellvue, CO 80512). The course links Horsetooth Reservoir and Lory State Park and is held above 5,000 feet. The event combines open water swims in Horsetooth Reservoir and trail running on Lory State Park single track and mixed terrain. Race distances offered are: - Colorado Experience: Total 6 mi; Swim 1.5 mi; Run 4.5 mi; Elevation 292 ft - Colorado Sprint: Total 11 mi; Swim 3 mi; Run 8 mi; Elevation 944 ft - Colorado World Series: Total 23.5 mi; Swim 5 mi; Run 18.5 mi; Elevation 2,091 ft Packet pickup is mandatory the day before at the Visit Fort Collins Welcome Center in Old Town Square; a race morning pickup option is available for an extra fee.
Parking at the race venue is limited and park entry fees apply for vehicles; athletes and volunteer vehicles receive covered entry for early arrivals. Mandatory race provided items include a color coded swim cap, race bib, foldable cup, and post race food wrist band; solo racers receive an auto inflating personal flotation device. Athletes must provide a wetsuit, whistle, compression bandage, and a tether or tow line. Water stops supply water and electrolyte drink and usually gels.
