ÖTILLÖ Colorado USA is a swimrun event in Fort Collins, Colorado, held on October 4, 2026. The course combines open-water swims in Horsetooth Reservoir with single-track trail running through Lory State Park at over 5,000 feet elevation. The venue for start and finish is Soldier Canyon Event Facility in Bellvue.
Three race distances are offered:
- Colorado Experience: Total 6 mi; Swim 1.5 mi; Run 4.5 mi; Elevation 292 ft
- Colorado Sprint: Total 11 mi; Swim 3 mi; Run 8 mi; Elevation 944 ft
- Colorado World Series: Total 23.5 mi; Swim 5 mi; Run 18.5 mi; Elevation 2,091 ft
Logistics include mandatory day-before packet pickup at Runner’s Roost in Fort Collins (Saturday, Oct 3, 13:00–16:00). Mandatory race gear includes a wetsuit, shoes worn throughout the race, a whistle, a compression bandage, and a tether; the event supplies swim caps, number bibs, timing chips, and Restube devices for solo racers. All distances share a single finish-line cutoff at 15:00 when the race ends.
Parking is limited; park entry fees are covered for athletes and volunteer vehicles until 7:00 AM. Water stations provide plain water and Precision Hydration electrolyte water; improper disposal of trash on course can lead to disqualification. A pre-race shakeout is available at the Horsetooth Reservoir swimming area and a sauna with cold plunge is located at the finish area.
