The event is a swimrun held in Colorado, USA, with the start/finish area at Soldier Canyon Event Facility, 708 Lodgepole Dr., Bellvue, CO. The course uses Horsetooth Reservoir and Lory State Park for open-water swims and trail running. Packet pickup is handled in Fort Collins at Runner’s Roost, Square Shopping Center, 3500 S College Ave, Suite 178. Awards are handed out as winners cross the finish line rather than at a separate ceremony. The race has mandatory gear checks and rules that require teams to stay together, remain on the marked course, and follow litter and safety rules. Water stops provide at least two coolers (one plain water, one electrolyte-infused water marked “PH”) and most will offer gels. Improper trash handling on course can result in disqualification.

- Colorado World Series: 23.5 mi total, 5 mi swim, 18.5 mi run, 2,091 ft elevation
Logistics and requirements
Packet pickup must be completed the day before the race; teams may allow one person to collect all team packets with permission and valid ID. Mandatory race-provided items include color-coded swim caps, number bibs, timing chip, and a Restube for solo racers (to be returned at the finish). Athlete-provided mandatory items include shoes, a wetsuit, a whistle, a compression bandage, and a tether.
