ÖTILLÖ Colorado USA takes place in Fort Collins, featuring a course set at an elevation of more than 5,000 feet. The event is staged at Lory State Park and Horsetooth Reservoir, providing a landscape that transitions between open-water coves and rugged single-track trails. This location represents the only high-altitude race in the U.S. series.

The event includes categories for male, female, and mixed teams, as well as solo categories for the World Series and Sprint distances. Mandatory equipment includes a wetsuit, shoes with grip, and a whistle. Solo racers are also required to use a flotation device.
The race venue is the Soldier Canyon Event Facility in Bellvue, approximately one hour north of Denver International Airport. On-site facilities include indoor restrooms at the start and finish area, and a bag drop for changing clothes. All finishers have access to food and drinks after reaching the finish line.
Packet pickup is held the day before the race at a local running store in Fort Collins, though a race-morning pickup option is available as a pre-purchased add-on. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
