ÖTILLÖ Race Austin USA
ÖTILLÖ Race Austin USA is an ÖTILLÖ Swimrun event held on November 8, 2026 at Pace Bend Park near Spicewood, Texas. The course combines single track forest trails, shoreline rock formations, and cliff jumps into the Colorado River, with views of Lake Travis and the Texas Hill Country.
The event offers three distances and mixes open water swims with trail and road running. Distances include:
- Austin Experience: Total 9 895 m, Swim 1 765 m, Run 8 130 m
- Austin Sprint: Total 15 445 m, Swim 3 215 m, Run 12 230 m
- Austin World Series: Total 25 095 m, Swim 4 820 m, Run 20 275 m
Race headquarters and the start finish area are at Camp Texlake, 5700 Pace Bend Rd N, Spicewood. Onsite lodging is available at Camp Texlake by bed reservation; the listed fee covers two nights, park entry, parking, and breakfast. Packet pickup is held the day before the race at the Camp Texlake dining hall and is mandatory.
Mandatory race equipment is enforced and may be checked during the event; required items include a wetsuit, swim cap, number bib, timing chip, a whistle, a compression bandage, and a tether. The event publishes a single course cut off for all distances and maintains an inclement weather protocol with assessments in short intervals.
