ÖTILLÖ Austin, USA
ÖTILLÖ Austin is a swimrun event held at Pace Bend Park with race operations based at Camp Texlake in Spicewood, Texas. The course uses single track forest trails, shoreline rock formations, and cliff jumps into the Colorado River. The park includes high limestone cliffs, rocky coves, and shoreline along Lake Travis. The event date is November 8th, 2026.
There are three race distances:
- Austin Experience: Total 9 895m, Swim 1 765m, Run 8 130m
- Austin Sprint: Total 15 445m, Swim 3 215m, Run 12 230m
- Austin World Series: Total 25 095m, Swim 4 820m, Run 20 275m
Race logistics and rules note that mandatory gear is checked and must be carried during the race. Race provided items include a color coded swim cap, number bib, timing chip, and Restube for solo racers. Athlete provided mandatory items include shoes, a wetsuit, a whistle, a compression bandage, and a tether. Packet pickup is required the day before at Camp Texlake and includes an apparel item, swim cap, collapsible cup, number bib, and timing chip.
On course, water stops supply plain water and Precision Hydration electrolyte water, and most stops offer PH gels. Littering or improper trash disposal may lead to disqualification. Awards are given for top three teams and top three solo finishers across the distances. Volunteers register for shifts and receive a shirt and a meal.
