ÖTILLÖ Austin, USA - ÖTILLÖ Swimrun
The event takes place on 8 November 2026 at Pace Bend Park near Austin, Texas. The course runs along Lake Travis shoreline and through single-track forest trails, with limestone cliffs, rocky coves, and cliff jumps into the Colorado River.
Race distances include:
- Austin Experience: Total 9 895m, Swim 1 765m, Run 8 130m, Elevation TBA
- Austin Sprint: Total 15 445m, Swim 3 215m, Run 12 230m, Elevation 131m
- Austin World Series: Total 25 095m, Swim 4 820m, Run 20 275m, Elevation 255m
All distances share the same course cut-off at 14:00 in the finish line area. Race headquarters and packet pickup are at Camp Texlake, 5700 Pace Bend Rd N, Spicewood, TX 78669; packet pickup is required the day before the race. Packet pickup supplies include an apparel item, swim cap, collapsible cup, number bib, timing chip, and for solo racers a Restube.
Mandatory gear is split into race-provided items and athlete-provided items. Race-provided items include a color coded swim cap, matching bib numbers, a timing chip, and a Restube for solo racers. Athlete-provided mandatory items include shoes to be worn throughout the race, a wetsuit, a whistle, a compression bandage, and a tether.
Lodging options note an onsite choice at Camp Texlake with a $60 reservation per bed per person for Fri and Sat nights; this includes complimentary park entry, parking, Saturday and Sunday breakfast, communal showers, and a common area. Travel notes list Austin–Bergstrom International Airport as the closest airport and about a one hour (42 mi) drive to Pace Bend Park. Park entry is normally $10 per vehicle unless included with onsite lodging.
Water stops provide at least two coolers - plain water and electrolyte-infused water marked PH - and typically gels. Proper disposal of trash at water stops is required and failure to do so can lead to disqualification. Awards are given to the top three teams and top three solo finishers in the World Series, Sprint, and Experience categories across male, female, and mixed team divisions.
