OSU CCVM Pet Day 5K Fun Run/Walk
The OSU CCVM Pet Day 2026 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Corvallis, OR at Magruder Hall. The event marks the start of OSU Pet Day and Open House and is organized by College of Veterinary Medicine students.
The event is a 5K run/walk on a flat, loop course that winds around and through the Oregon State University campus. The start and finish lines are located at Magruder Hall. Water is provided for people and pets along the course and at the finish.
Registration fees are $20 through May 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM US/Pacific and $25 thereafter, including day-of registration; day-of registration is cash only. Packet pickup is available on the day of the race. Shirts are free for online registrants who register by May 1, 2026; shirts are also available at the event for $10 each, cash or check, while supplies last.
The event is open to the public and their pets; pets must be on a leash or lead. It serves as a fundraiser for student activities. Prizes are provided for the first adult finisher, first canine companion finisher, and first child finisher 12 years and under. Event parking is free in the Reser Stadium parking lot; additional limited parking is available behind Dryden Hall on 30th Street. Weapons and toy guns are strictly prohibited.
