The OSU Indoor Triathlon takes place on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the Recreational and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) at The Ohio State University, 337 Annie and John Glenn Ave, Columbus, OH 43210. The event serves as a USAT Collegiate Nationals qualifier. The triathlon is time-based rather than distance-based and follows a fixed sequence: a 10 minute swim in the indoor competition pool, a 15 minute transition to the stationary bike, a 20 minute stationary bike ride, a 5 minute transition to the track, and a 15 minute run on the indoor track. Food is provided after the event. Racers who register by the stated deadline are eligible for a race t-shirt.

Registration, categories, waves and prizes

Two categories are listed: Open and Collegiate/High School. Fees listed are $55 for Open and $45 for Collegiate/HS, with prices increasing after December 25, 2025. Registration remains open until race day; registrations after January 18, 2026 will be placed in the last waves. Collegiate racers are scheduled to race first, followed by open racers. Preliminary wave assignments will be posted beginning January 18, 2026 and seeded using 5k times; finalized wave assignments will be made later. Same-day registration is available, with cash noted as easiest for on-site payment. Top male and top female finishers receive a certificate toward a Roka wetsuit.
