Event
The ORRRC St. Patrick's Day 5k takes place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Dayton, OH (zip 45459). The race is organized by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, a 100% all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Ohio nonprofit. Entry fees are waived for current ORRRC members and for participants age 14 and under; non-members age 15 and up pay $10. Membership in ORRRC is available and includes benefits such as access to multiple club races. The event uses chip timing and offers refreshments. Top three overall awards are given for women and men, and small age-group awards may be offered.
Course and logistics
The course runs on the Iron Horse bike trail and includes a loop through the surrounding neighborhood, beginning and finishing at the park shelter house and finishing with a field loop. The route will be well marked, with course marshals at major intersections. Primary parking is at Iron Horse Park, with legal overflow parking on Millshire, Clintshire, and Heathshire streets. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Pre-registration is handled through RunSignup; minors must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
