Course and Logistics

The 5 km course begins at the shelter house in Iron Horse Park. Participants follow a path through the field before entering a local residential neighborhood. The route includes a loop around the Hidden Hills pond and continues onto a bike trail located south of the park. The final segment of the course returns to the park for a concluding loop in the field. To assist participants, the route is marked, and course marshals are stationed at major intersections. For legal reasons, dogs are not permitted on the course.

Primary parking is available at Iron Horse Park, with additional overflow parking permitted on surrounding neighborhood streets such as Millshire, Clintshire, and Heathshire. Participants can pick up their timing chips at the shelter house on the day of the race. All finishers receive refreshments after crossing the line, and awards are presented to the top three overall men and women.

Registration and Fees

Registration is available online, with options for current club members and non-members. Entry is free for all current ORRRC members and minors aged 14 and under. All other participants are required to pay a registration fee. While pre-registration is available, race day registration can be completed online or via paper forms at the venue.
