About the race
The ORRRC Narrows Rabbit Hunt Trail Run takes place on October 25, 2026, at the Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road, Xenia, Ohio. Registration and event activity use nearby parking at the Russ Research Center parking lot, 2670 Indian Ripple Road.
The course covers 5.7 miles on trails. Participants must check in before the race and attach the assigned timing chip to one shoe; chips are distributed at a table with a green tablecloth. Organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the race for parking, check in, and warm up.
Registration is available through RunSignup prior to the event and can also be completed in person on race day. Hard copy registration sheets are available at the event. Minors may be registered online by a parent or guardian or in person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver. Members who do not register through RunSignup must show proof of membership on race day to receive member fees.
Fee structure: current ORRRC members run for free when membership is verified. Non‑members pay $10 for ages 15 and up; ages 14 and under are free.
Awards include first overall male and female, first male and female Masters (40 and over), Grand Master (50 and over), and Senior (60 and over). Overall award recipients are not eligible for age group awards. Age groups are listed from 9 and under through 80 and up.
Animals are not permitted at the event except for clearly identified service dogs; other animals will not be issued timing chips and will be removed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
