Course
The course is an out-and-back route on a bike path within Englewood Metropark West Park. The first half mile is described as a "fast downhill," which leads into a significant uphill climb over the final half mile.
Fees and Registration
Registration is conducted through RunSignup. Participants pick up their timing chip at the green table on race day.
Fees
- ORRRC members: Free.
- Non-members: $10 for ages 15 and up.
- Participants aged 14 and under run for free.
Members must show proof of membership on race day if not registered through RunSignup.
Awards
The event presents several awards. Overall awards are given to the first male and female finishers, as well as the first male and female masters (over 40), grand masters (over 50), and seniors (over 60). Winners of overall awards are not eligible for age group awards.
All participants aged 0-9 receive a ribbon. Finisher medals are awarded to the top three finishers in numerous age group categories, ranging from 10-14 up to 80 & up.
Organizer
The race is organized by the Ohio River Road Runners Club (ORRRC), an all-volunteer, non-profit running club based in Dayton, Ohio.
Other Information
The event uses the Lawmill Shelter within the park. Parking instructions are provided, directing participants to use entrance ER-5 at the intersection of National Road and Main Street in downtown Englewood. Race-day registration is available online until approximately 15 minutes before the start, with hard copy sheets also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
