The ORRRC Darby Creek Bison 10k trail race takes place on August 15, 2026, at Battelle Darby Creek Metropark, Cedar Ridge Parking Area, 1775 Darby Creek Dr., Galloway, OH 43119. The course runs on park trails within Darby Creek, a metro park of more than 7,000 acres with prairies, fields, forests and more than 20 miles of riparian forest along the Big and Little Darby Creeks. The race is presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, a 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) Ohio non-profit club.
Registration, fees and race services
Pre-registration is handled through RunSignup and participants pick up their timing chip at the registration table on race day. Minors may be pre-registered by a parent or guardian; minors must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Current ORRRC members run free; non-members pay $10 for ages 15 and up and participants ages 14 and under run free. Race day registration is available online and hard copy registration sheets are available if needed.
The event uses chip timing. There are no race shirts or finisher medals listed; refreshments will be provided. Awards include First Overall Male/Female, First Male/Female Masters (over 40), First Grand Master Male/Female (over 50), First Male/Female Senior (over 60), plus age group awards across standard age categories.
