Pumpkin Ridge Run : overview
The Pumpkin Ridge Run is an annual road running event held in North Plains, Oregon. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, August 01, 2026. All events start and finish at North Plains Elementary School, 32030 NW North Ave, North Plains, OR 97133.

- 10K
- 5K
All participants in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon receive a finisher medal. Additional finisher items include a cooling towel and a certificate for free garlic bread at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Awards are presented for each distance.
Courses and event logistics
Course routing uses quiet farm roads around North Plains. The 5K is an out-and-back. The 10K is a counter-clockwise loop with a small out-and-back near the end. The Half Marathon follows the same loop as the 10K and is run twice. The 10K and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified. The Half Marathon has a 3-hour course time limit; a walk option is not available for that distance.
Ample parking is available at the elementary school; the main parking lot is reserved for volunteers and participants are directed to park in the field west of the school. Registration for the 2026 event is not yet open. The course is closed after the events for participant safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
