Pumpkin Ridge Run - Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The Pumpkin Ridge Run is an annual road running event in North Plains, Oregon, offering three distances on quiet rural and farm roads. The event is set at North Plains Elementary School, 32030 NW North Ave, North Plains, OR 97133, with all events starting and finishing at the school.
Courses and format are described as follows:
- Half Marathon: USATF certified; follows the 10K loop twice; 3-hour time limit.
- 10K: USATF certified loop with a small out-and-back near the end.
- 5K: out-and-back route leaving the parking lot to the left.
Early packet pickup is available on July 25 and July 26 at Foot Traffic locations in Portland, and on July 31 at North Plains Elementary School. Day-of-race registration and packet pickup are offered the morning of the event.
Parking is available at the school; the main lot is reserved for volunteers and participants are asked to park in the field west of the school. All finishers receive a finisher's award. Registration permits entry in multiple events and volunteers are used to support the event.
