ORRC Free Member 5K Run/Walk
The ORRC Free Member 5K Run/Walk is a poker style running and walking event held within Greenway Park in Beaverton on Labor Day morning, with start and finish at Tractor Park. The course is approximately 5 kilometers and is laid out as three out-and-back legs entirely inside the park. The event emphasizes the poker hand rather than elapsed time or exact distance.
Pre registration is required for the member discount; the event is free for ORRC members who pre register and carries a registration fee of $25 for non members. There is no day of event registration. Participation is limited to 150 people because of bike trail constraints and very limited restroom facilities; there is only one portable toilet in the park near the start area and no additional units will be brought in. Registration opens on 2026-01-15 and closes on 2026-09-06.
Volunteers are part of the event setup and a volunteer sign up option is provided by the organizers.
