Orienteering Challenge Series - Schramm
The event takes place on June 19, 2027 at Schramm State Recreation Area, Hwy 31, Gretna, NE, centered at the shelter by the trailhead near the ponds. It is part of the 2027 orienteering series.

Participants navigate using pre-plotted maps to find checkpoints and aim to visit as many checkpoints as possible within a three hour cutoff. The format combines running or brisk hiking with map reading and route choice.
Divisions include solo entries and two-person teams, with team categories listed as coed, male, and female. Registration opens November 1, 2026 and closes June 4, 2027. The entry fee is $40 and includes a T-shirt, snacks, drinks, and medals awarded to top solo finishers and teams. Park permits are handled at the park office.
