Ordination Rock Run : Tamworth, NH
Ordination Rock Run is a point-to-point 5k held in Tamworth, New Hampshire on July 4, 2026. The finish line and packet pickup are at Kenneth Brett School, 881 Tamworth Road. The start line is at Ordination Rock on Cleveland Hill Road. Organizers offer an additional registration and packet pickup the evening before the race.
The roughly 5k course combines village streets and trails through the Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm, crosses the Swift River, passes local landmarks such as the Captain Enoch Remick House and the Tamworth History Center, and finishes with a straight run down Route 113 to the school. Surfaces include pavement and dirt with roots and rocks; portions of the route are on open roads, so participants must watch for traffic.
The listed entry fee is $20 and includes race entry, a bib raffle entry, ice cream from Papa Beans, and a commemorative gift; youth under 18 are free. Every registered bib serves as a raffle entry for prizes donated by sponsors. Prizes for top finishers and age group awards are specified by organizers.
Participants must register and accept event rules and the liability waiver; guardians must sign for minors. Pets are not allowed on course except for service animals with prior arrangements.
