Ordination Rock Run, Tamworth NH
The Ordination Rock Run is a community 5k held in Tamworth, New Hampshire on July 4, 2026. The course is point to point, beginning at Ordination Rock on Cleveland Hill Road and finishing at Kenneth Brett School on Tamworth Road. The route combines village streets and trail sections through the Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm and crosses the Swift River.
Registration is by donation with a stated suggested fee of $20 which includes race entry, a commemorative gift, ice cream from Papa Beans, and entry in a bib raffle; youth under 18 are free. There is an additional registration and packet pickup opportunity on July 3 at Kenneth Brett School. Packet pickup and the finish are located at Kenneth Brett School; volunteer transport is planned from the school to the start and there is parking near the Tamworth Town House.
The event uses gun time only and race timing is provided as a courtesy; recorded times may be approximate. The course is on both open roads and trail surfaces with dirt, roots, and rocks; participants are responsible for watching for traffic and following the marked course. All participants must register, wear a visible bib, and accept event rules and the liability waiver. Pacers are not allowed and the use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged. No pets are allowed on course; service animals may be accommodated with advance arrangements. Age group awards and a bib raffle are part of the post race activities.
